SOLAR AND ENERGY CONSERVATION SALES MANAGER

Job Description

One of New Jersey’s oldest and most respected renewable energy companies (licensed home improvement contractor and electrical contractor) is looking for a director of business development ready to lead a diversification and brand expansion effort.

REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must be experienced, flexible, motivated, and interested in developing others. Experience in selling to businesses a must. Experience with solar, electrical services, HVAC, high efficiency lighting or related technology is desirable.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include:
–Sales recruiting and training
–Motivating a sales team
–Spending at least one day per month lead generating with each salesperson
–Assisting salespersons with more complex selling efforts
–Shaping marketing and promotional material
–Guiding market focus
–Creating a lead generation program
–Designing performance metrics and reporting results

Candidates must have good writing skills and be technologically proficient. MS Excel knowledge is necessary. NABCEP certificates or certifications are preferred.
